Everything you need to set up and use Zentriq with Business Central.
Before using any Zentriq product, you need a Business Central environment and the Zentriq AL extension installed.
The Zentriq AL extension adds custom API pages that PunchOut, Agent, and Document Capture use to communicate with your Business Central data. It does not modify any standard BC tables or functionality.
In Business Central, search for “Extension Management” and open it.
Search for “Zentriq” in the marketplace, or upload the .app file provided by our team.
In the Zentriq dashboard, enter your BC environment URL and company name. The extension will verify the connection.
Zentriq uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for authentication. When you sign in, you authenticate with your Microsoft account — the same one you use for Business Central. No separate password or API key is needed.
All data stays within your BC tenant. Zentriq never stores your Business Central data on our servers. Cart and document content is processed in real-time and discarded after delivery.
Capture any e-commerce cart and create Requisition Worksheet lines in Business Central with one click.
Download Zentriq PunchOut from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar. Click the extension icon and sign in with your Microsoft account.
Browse any e-commerce site — Amazon Business, Distrelec, RS Components, Galaxus, Conrad, or any other supplier. Add items to your cart as usual.
Open the Zentriq extension and click Capture. The AI reads the current page and extracts product names, SKUs, quantities, prices, and currency.
Check the extracted items, correct anything if needed, then click Send. Lines are created in your Requisition Worksheet.
Unlike traditional PunchOut catalogs, Zentriq works on any website. The AI reads the page like a human would — no EDI or cXML setup required.
After AI parsing, each extracted SKU is checked against your BC item references (vendor item numbers). Matched items are linked automatically to the correct BC item and vendor. Unmatched items are flagged so you can review them manually.
Captured items are inserted as lines in your BC Requisition Worksheet with vendor, item reference, quantity, and unit price pre-filled. From there, your standard BC workflow takes over — review, modify, and convert to purchase orders as usual.
Ask questions about your BC data, analyze documents, and create records — all in natural language.
The Zentriq Agent is an AI assistant embedded directly in Business Central. Open it from the BC sidebar and start typing. The agent understands your BC data and can query vendors, items, purchase orders, stock levels, and more.
Available on all plans including free. Ask the agent anything about your data:
Available on paid plans. The agent can create or modify records in Business Central:
Every write action requires your explicit approval before it executes. The agent shows you exactly what it will do and waits for you to confirm.
Upload invoices, delivery notes, or contracts directly in the chat. The agent extracts key information, compares against existing orders, and flags discrepancies. Supports PDF, images, and scanned documents.
Extract data from invoices, receipts, and delivery notes. Match against your BC records automatically.
Zentriq Document Capture uses AI to read documents and extract structured data — vendor name, amounts, line items, dates, tax info, and more. Extracted data is cross-referenced with your Business Central vendors and items automatically.
Supplier invoices with line items, amounts, tax and payment terms
Purchase receipts and order confirmations
Shipping documents with quantities and reference numbers
Framework agreements and recurring order contracts
Supported formats: PDF, PNG, JPG, TIFF. Even scanned or photographed documents work.
In the Zentriq Agent chat, upload a file or drag-and-drop. The AI starts processing immediately.
The agent shows you the extracted vendor, line items, amounts, and dates. It also tells you if it found a matching vendor or PO in BC.
Approve the extraction and the data is sent to BC — creating or updating records as needed.
