The procurement team places 50+ POs per week from a mix of online catalogs (Galaxus B2B, Brack Business, Distrelec, etc.).
Each PO took 20–30 minutes: open the supplier site, copy product codes, transcribe quantities and prices into Business Central, double-check totals against the cart screenshot.
Catalog re-keying introduced occasional errors (wrong unit price, mistyped SKU) that were caught only when the supplier shipped the wrong item — sometimes weeks later.

The solution

Installed the Zentriq PunchOut Chrome extension across the procurement desks.
On the supplier's catalog, the team browses normally and clicks Send to BC right from the cart.
Zentriq matches the supplier to the BC vendor card, creates the PO header with the right currency and payment terms, and adds every line with the right item number, quantity, and unit price.
Manual review takes 30 seconds before release; a single click sends it to the supplier.

The problem

180 supplier invoices per month, mostly from regular vendors (catering, AV equipment rental, freelancers, IT supplies).
Each invoice was hand-typed into the BC Purchase Invoice card: vendor lookup, posting date, lines, amounts, VAT codes, attachment uploaded separately.
An average invoice took 4–6 minutes to enter and another 1–2 minutes to verify against the PDF.
Backlog routinely meant invoices were posted 3–5 days late — early payment discounts (1–2%) were missed on roughly half the eligible invoices.

The solution

Forward the supplier PDF (or drag-drop) into the Zentriq chat inside Business Central.
AI extracts vendor name, invoice number, date, line items, amounts, VAT — and matches the vendor against the BC card via VAT ID.
If item lines aren't matched in the BC catalog, the agent proposes a G/L expense account and remembers the choice for future invoices from the same vendor.
The user reviews the draft (Document Date, Vendor Invoice No., lines all pre-filled) and clicks Post to BC.

The results

End-to-end AP processing time went from ~4 days/month to ~6 hours/month for the 180-invoice volume — an 85% reduction.
AP team picked up the saved time for vendor negotiations and month-end close prep instead of data entry.
